I have a lot of great memories of Uncle Richard. He taught me how to safely handle a firearm. He talked to me about the greatness of our country, about the importance of our military, and shared his deep sense of patriotism that I still carry with me.
He patiently answered many of my childhood questions about cars, airplanes, baseball, guns, wars, and countless other topics. To a young boy he was a mountain of knowledge who always took the time to explain how things worked. He shared stories about the Vietnam War, driving fast cars, and getting into a little trouble along the way!
Regretfully I have not seen him in recent years, but I am fortunate to have spent time with him when I was young and I will always remember the things I learned from him.
He worked hard, served his country, and expected only what he had earned. He will be missed.

Betty and Family: We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Dick! Dick was a great guy, who always had a interesting sense of humor. Quick with a joke. I worked with Dick ever since Chrysler Plymouth East, then at Ricart Jeep, then Bob Caldwell Dodge till 2005. He was a very caring person. I still have the card he wrote to me when my Mother passed away in 2005. I often thought of Dick. Loved him like a brother! Will be missed very much. Hope to see again someday in a better place! God Bless - Ralph (Jeanne) Kinzel

It was a true honor to call you my friend. The day I met you at Bob Caldwell you instantly came over and treated me like family. You were the funniest, most honest person, and most patriotic person I have ever known. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. You will be missed by all of us that knew you even if only for a short time. My sympathy and prayers go out to the family in this time of need.
