Richard "Dick" Althar, age 65, of Calimesa, California passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in Banning, California. Dick is survived by his wife, Patty Althar of 18 years. He also leaves four children, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dick was a fun loving man with a great personality who loved his family. He also loved to fish, loved to travel, loved to put puzzels together and was an advent classic car admirer. Memorial services were held at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 1:00 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary.
