Richard I. Balm, 78 of Greenwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Greenwood. He was retired from Whirlpool Corporation, veteran of the Navy and member of Harvest Time Tabernacle. He loved working on old cars and playing his guitar and keyboard. He lived in Greenwood for almost 40 years, where he had many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marla Ann Balm of 47 years; a sister, Jerry; his parents, Lawrence and Edith Balm and his twin daughters, Kitty and Kathy.
Viewing will be Friday, February 7, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge, IA under the direction of Gunderson Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, IA.
He is survived by two sons, David Balm and wife, Angela of Greenwood and Mark Balm and wife, Doris of Booneville, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
