I was very sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Rick. I really enjoyed the years I worked with him at Dominion Securities, Vancouver. One of his many wonderful qualities was his wonderful sense of humour and infectious laugh. Only wished I hadn't lost contact with him after I left that company. God speed....until we meet again.

We will miss that wonderful and infectious grin. Rick was a very warm and caring person and he shared his joy of life with us. Many fond memories of times spent together. Val, Kerry and Katie Wieczorek.

A warm memory of our hike through the Rockies, we so enjoyed the bacon Rick brought along (probably every bear around enjoyed the aroma). However the cast iron frying pan (so very heavy) that Rick carried to cook the bacon in wasn't so necessary a couple of days later, and, like a now experienced, hiker he donated the pan for the bears to clean out. Wonderful memories of a trip shared with a wonderful friend.

I was delighted by Rick's enthusiasm and energy. It was a pleasure to see the Sunshine Coast property. I was glad that Rick wanted to sell me his "Lifetimer" aluminum boat and it has been giving us great service at Gambier ever since (it does have a new engine).
