D'Amico, Richard – of Grand Blanc, age 81, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at his residence. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI with Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Memorial visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI. Mr. D'Amico was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on February 9, 1932 the son of the late Vito and Josephine D'Amico. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and had worked for the City of Detroit. Surviving are: children, Linda Kingston, Richard D'Amico, and Pia (Tracy) Jesse; grandchildren, Nicole Wayman, Desiree Kingston, Eric (Amanda) Kingston, Brittany Brenner, Stephanie D'Amico, Jacquelyn D'Amico, and Robert Brenner; great-grandchildren, Amber and Zachary Wayman, Lynda Gerds, and Hayden Para; sister, Beverly (Raul) Lazo; brother, Salvatore (Rosa) D'Amico, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. D'Amico was preceded in death by his son, Victor D'Amico and sister, Pauline Borg. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Rest easy Richard. I wish I could've met you. My journey into my Mom's (Paula Luppino Patricola) "side" of the family had just started......thanks to Peter and you are part of that journey. Thank you for your kind thoughts for my Mom. Tell her I love her when u see her.
