Richard "Gabby" Frank Griffin Our beloved son, brother, husband, father, and uncle; Richard F. Griffin affectionately known as "Gabby", 49, of Odessa, TX, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in a motorcycle accident in Odessa. He was born in Odessa on August 21, 1963 to Frank and Deanna Griffin. He was preceded in death by his Father, Grandmothers Lenna Griffin and Mildred Deal, Grandfathers Arlie Griffin and Vernon Davis. Our beloved son, brother, husband, father, and uncle; Richard F. Griffin affectionately known as "Gabby", 49, of Odessa, TX, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in a motorcycle accident in Odessa. He was born in Odessa on August 21, 1963 to Frank and Deanna Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Grandmothers Lenna Griffin and Mildred Deal, Grandfathers Arlie Griffin and Vernon Davis.
Richard is survived by his wife Jennifer Griffin of Odessa; son R.J. Griffin of Odessa; and two daughters Mandy (Chris) Clark of Odessa; Candace Griffin of Odessa; three stepchildren Cammie DeHart, Baily Doroshenko, Emmerson Doroshenko all of Odessa; adoring grandson Cameron Clark of Odessa, mother Deanna (Phil) Linn of Odessa, brother Michael (Beth) Griffin of Greenwood, sister Michelle (Terry) Parker of Midland; Mother-In-Law Leslie Doroshenko of Odessa; Brother-In-Laws Ron (Danielle) Nesser of Oklahoma, Robert Anderson of California, Jimmy (Stephanie) Doroshenko of California, Aaron (Amy) Tillman of Montana; One niece, five nephews, one great nephew, and two great nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He spent all of his life in Odessa and attended Odessa High School. He was a member of the Shiners and Iron Pigs. Gabby spent most of his career in the Oil and Gas Industry and was employed as a Plant Operator at Legado Resources- Goldsmith Gas Plant. He lived a happy life filled with many friends and fond memories. He loved to hunt, fish, Bar-B-Q cookouts, and ride his motorcycle with the Cossacks, and Iron Pigs. His best memories were those of family cookouts, fishing, hunting, and his motorcycle rides. He was greatly loved and will be missed by family and friends. This is not "goodbye"; just "we'll see you later".
Services will be on October 24TH, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home of Odessa.
