I miss you tricky. Now I have all the time in the world and NO ONE to spend it with. They say it's called life. I know you are in a better place and someday Shirley will be there with you. I pray it isn't too soon. I'm another year closer to seeing you again. Tom

Tricky always made me smile when he would come through the door at Waffle House and the few times I seen him at the Corner Cafe. His first words were always, 'Hello sweetheart' Mayhe rest in peace. He was a nice man.

Shirley, I am so sorry to be receiving this news! As you may remember Richard was like a second father to me when I worked for him on third watch at North Patrol Division in the 1980's. During that time I was treated like family by both of you. God bless Richard and your entire family and know that my prayer's are with your entire family!

Dick was my first desk Sgt at CPD on dogwatch. I remember if you kept him happy you were happy. You got a good days off group. Thats when the desk Sgt's set the days off schedule. We also lived in the old Gracemor neighborhood with him. Good guy rest in peace.

My heart felt condolences to Tricky's family. He was one of our channel 3 CBers from the good old days. I will remember him and all the great times on the radio, he was a blast and brought a lot to the channel, he would give them hell when needed to, but had a big heart if he liked you, and I'm glad he liked me. R.I.P. Tricky, I have fond memories of you , from the love for the little turtles in your back yard, to hearing about your grandchildren, great grandchildren, and tales from back in your day ? My heart goes out to all of you, and your in my prayers, rest in peace my friend Tricky

I'm really going to miss him. Sounds funny saying that. Richard was always home or close to it. It was me who moved away and let time get away from me and NOT going to visit my old friend. We would talk about all the crap on the radio and Shirley would get after him for doing that. She would Yell at him to turn that darned thing off if he was going to talk like that. I don't often get over that way and I let it get away from me. Here's to you Richard. You were a GREAT friend and I will always be sorry I let life get away from me and lost you as a good friend and Now I will have to wait till the next life to see you again. Sorry just ain't enough my old friend, But it will have to do. Shirley, I'm sorry I didn't keep in contact better. :( TOM
