Richard is survived by his loving mother; Maxine Shirley McComas, sister; Sharon (John) Barr, aunt; Dorothy Bales, nephews; Tim Barr, Tony Barr, Tyson Barr, Doug (Judy) McComas, nieces; Lauren McComas, Kimberly McComas, great nephews and nieces; Doug McComas Jr., Jayden Cannon, Rikkayla McComas, Haley McComas, Bryanna Herrera and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father; Thomas Jefferson McComas, brother; Tom McComas, uncle; Russell Bales and grandmother; Esther Newell. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Funeral Services will be held at Amazing Grace Church on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 9:00 in the morning. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
