Richard Kenneth Stover, 68 of Jacksonville passed away on May 21, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. Richard is preceded by his parents; Alice R. and Quentin Stover of Pax, WV. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Marilyn Stover, sons; Richard Scott Stover and Michael Crews (Courtney), daughters; Jodi Hurst (David) and Jeanie Pratt (Wayne), brothers; Gabe Stover (Jude), Johnny Stover, Stanley Stover and Tom Stover (Linda), sisters; Carol Allen and Judy Strickland (Phil), grandchildren; Sara Michelle Stover, Jennifer Gayle Stover, Amber Hurst, Andrew Hurst, Whitney Pratt, Maverick Pratt, Bailey Pisani, Mackenzie Crews, and Colby Crews and numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed all sports and being outdoors; mostly fishing. Richard will be remembered for his love of family, kind heart, and determining spirit. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., FL 32205. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery located at 7083 Lannie Road, Jax., FL 32218 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to the Haven Hospice of Orange Park.
