Ricky Gerald Wohlgemuth, 57, passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 in Leesburg, Va. He was born on Oct. 29, 1959 in Detroit, MI to Kenneth and Donna Wohlgemuth.
Rick was a very passionate/hard working man. He enjoyed almost 23 years of work with Verizon Wireless. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling the country on his motorcycle with his loving wife Fran and spending time with his family. He was an extremely proud father and grandfather of his 6 children, 2 step children and 7 grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his wife Fran of 17 years, sons Blake of CA, Bryson, Baron, Blaine all of MS, daughters Brooke of TX, Blair of IN, stepdaughters Tina and Shanna of FL. His 7 grandchildren include Brandon, Brian, Mia, Elias, Asher, Skyler and Christian. His parents Ken and Donna Wohlgemuth, sisters Cindy and Denise all of MO and his brother Kevin of PA.
Funeral services will be at Parkway Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, Ms 39157 on Sunday March 19, 2017. Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life for Rick will be held at 3:00 pm followed by graveside services.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org . Condolences may be left in Rick's online guestbook at www.parkwayfuneralhomeridgeland.com.
