MELCHER, Robert A.
89, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Sept. 23, 2016 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System in Bay Pines, Florida. He was born April 16, 1927 in Foxboro, Massachusetts, the son of Andrew and Laura (Bell) Melcher. Robert retired as a Sergeant from the US Air Force and was a veteran of WWII and Korea. He was a former State Commander of D.A.V. in 1996-1997 and a member of Silver Wingers Association. He is survived by his loving family and friends.
He will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Friday, November 18th at 9:15am.

I am so sorry to find out that Bob has passed away. He bought Maple syrup from me for Christmas presents every year and I had the pleasure of delivering it and meeting him a couple of times.
I will miss his cheery voice and chatty phone calls.
