Bruce Gale, 49, of Colorado City passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Abilene,Texas. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Colorado City Cemetery. Rev. James Williams will be officiating services. Family visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Bruce was born December 21, 1962 in Dalhart,TX to parents Richard and Betty Gale. Bruce married Peggy Mentel at Colordo City Lake on July 4, 2009. Bruce was a member of First Baptist Church in Colorado City. He lived in Colorado City most of his life. Bruce was the manager of Higginbotham-Bartlett Company Lumber Yard in Colorado City. He was a member of the Cotton Club Camp and very active in the 4-H association. He loved playing golf, and was a Tony Stewart fan. Bruce was voted most wittiest in his High School class. Bruce loved making people smile. He also loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors are: wife: Peggy of Colorado City, Son: Haden Brice Gale of Amherst, TX, and Daughter: Cassi Shea Gale of Lubbock,TX. Father: Richard Gale and wife Nell of Colorado City,TX , Mother: Betty S. Hammond Gale of Dripping Springs, TX . Brother: Richard Gary Gale and wife Cheryl Danelle of Colorado City,TX, and Friend: Joe"JOJO" Stinson of Colorado City. Former Wife: Gayla Gonzalez of Amherst,TX. And many many many friends…..
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

When deer season comes around each year I always think of Bruce ! You see , Bruce took me to a very special place to him . And to this day it's a special place to me also .Because it was his home ( C ) city . He took me out to Blackwell to harvest a deer & I did . We all miss you Bruce !

Me and Bruce worked together in Saginaw Tx . I had been looking for him over the years we lost touch . So I made it to (C) City as Bruce would say and stopped at the Store because I knew Bruce knew most in Town . The the laidy knew Bruce and told me he had passed away . I wish I would not have wasted time to see Bruce . Bruce was a GREAT MAN ! Could always make anyone smile
