Robert Dale Buzard “Buzz”, 92, of Columbia, MO passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Lenoir Woods in Columbia, MO.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 914 West Blvd South, Columbia, MO. Graveside service and inurnment will be at 11:45 AM on Friday, May 26, 2017 in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
Robert was born on November 22, 1924 in Carroll, IA the son of DR. I.S. and Daisy (Price) Buzard who preceded him in death. He was married on September 4th, 1949 in Morrison, IL, to Carmen Crump who preceded him in death after 56 years of marriage. Bob was a veteran of the US Army and retired from MODOT as a Highway Design Engineer.
Survivors include: one daughter, Gayle Buzard; two grandchildren, Garrett Gunberg and Alissa Gunberg. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Gunberg (son in law is Garth Gunberg) and one brother, Richard Buzard.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 914 West Blvd South, Columbia, MO 65203.

We've know Robert Buzard many years and hold a high regard for he and Carmen. We send deep sympathy to the family of Robert at this time of loss. Merlin farmed for Robert on the Faye Crump land near Elmer MO. Merlin holds many good memories in his heart regarding the honesty, dignity, and respectable ways of Faye, Carmen, and Robert.
