Robert "Bob" Duane Snyder -
Of Jackson, MI passed away, surrounded by his family, on November 24, 2016 at the age of 85. Bob was born on July 17, 1931 in Jackson, MI to parents, Tracy Roy and Lillian (Barrett) Snyder. He married the love of his life, Donnajean, on February 11, 1957 in Angola, Indiana. Bob was a veteran of U.S Army. He worked as an Inspector at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 31 years. Bob loved to spend time with his family and loved cooking, playing cards, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donnajean Snyder; three children: Diane Walkowicz, Sandra (Al) Sumner, and Michelle Snyder; six grandchildren: Robert Sumner, Elizabeth Walkowicz, Katherine (Jeremy) Czolgosz, Alexander Sumner, Ryan Snyder, and Bradley Harris; four great grandchildren and sister, Joyce Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: William, Dale, and Donald. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the funeral home at 12:00pm with visitation from 11:00am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Great Lakes Caring or Jackson County Medical Care Facility.
