I worked with him on the Dock on Tour 3 while he was still an airdock clerk; we chatted many times about a variety of subjects(mostly craft beer in recent years). He never had a bad word to say about anybody, and was one of the nicest people I've ever met at the Tampa Airport Post Office(or anywhere, for that matter). My wife was his supervisor for a time, and always wished she'd had more employees like him. We were unable to attend the memorial, but we extend our deepest sympathies to Bob's family & friends. He was a one-of-a-kind, stand-up guy, and he will be missed.

Bob was my brother-in-law but for some reason I usually liked to call him Robert. As one of four girls I always thought of him as the brother I never had. I've known him since I was only 17 years old. He had a kind and generous heart and he expressed that kindness to my family in so many ways over the years. He loved my parents and visited my dad in the nursing home many times in his declining days, he even asked to visit my dad's gravesite with my sister Pam when my dad passed away. That was so like Bob! Rest in peace Robert, you will be greatly missed. Our lives and our family gatherings won't be the same without you and until we all meet again in heaven some day, I like to think of you keeping my dad company up there! Always your sister-in-law,

I had the pleasure to work with Bob in express mail. He was always kind and never had a anything bad to say about those he worked with. He was always willing to help. During my time of declining health, he made a work situation more bearable. I am grateful for that along with my other fellow employees. I thank God for Bob , I only wish more were like him. My heartfelt sympathy, Paul J Frenandez Tampa,Fl

I write this with great sadness in my heart. Bobby and I have been best friends since four grade and have spent weekends together for the last 13 or 14 years. Bobby was one of the truly nice guys that always had something nice to say about everyone. My condolences to his family and all that loved him. I will miss Bobby every day and his memory will live with me for the rest of my life. Rest in peace Bobby, See you later. Your friends Jimmy and Ann Mitchell and son Marc.

My deepest sympathy to Bob's family.
He was a great human being that was always smiling no matter what was going on in his life. I had great talks with him that I'll be forever grateful for he was knowledgeable about lots of subjects. He loved his family and all his postal family. Rest my friend, may God speed your soul to build that home you always planned to build. Best regards to all family and friends.
