ROBERT W. ADAMS, SR. 87
Robert (Bob) Adams, Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Monday, November 28, at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson, Michigan. Bob was born November 7, 1929 to Victor and Martha (Roberts) Adams in Albion, Michigan. On July 19, 1952 he married Joanne Carr, the love of his life.
In addition to his loving wife of 64 years, Bob is survived by his children; Bob and Karen Adams, Albion, Sherri and Larry Unsworth, Saginaw and Bill and Robyn Adams, Albion; grandchildren, Rob and Kris Adams, Virginia, Chad and Lindsay Adams, Albion, Jonathan Unsworth and fiancé Chelsey Odor, Saginaw, Hannah Adams, Albion and Karleigh Adams, Albion; great-grandchildren William, Charlie, Claire, Max and Avery; and many loving nieces, nephews and relatives.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Eugene Adams and sisters Velma Merritt, Lois Wade and Norine Holmes.
Bob carried on the family farm and retired as a supervisor at Decker Manufacturing Corporation. He lived for his family, loved to laugh and play video games with his grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Caring Community Wesleyan Church in Albion, 1015 Irwin Ave, Albion, with Rev. Steve Shafe officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be Friday from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am–12:00 pm.

Bob was an old-timer of the community-but he seemed young.
He thought like a true American and always waved when I would drive the tractor by his house.
He had a happy and joyous attitude about him.
I will miss his kind way.
