To William, Velda, Eddie and Beth: We are blessed in knowing that Bob is now Living Life in a much better way while continuing with his welcoming flair and glowing smile. Of course, Bob has always been an angel to me. When we were young, the future seemed like such a sure thing and so far away, thought we knew what it would bring; work hard, play hard and don't sweat the bills. Never guessed things would change so much. Though we knew, as friends, we would never lose touch; I sure could handle some of those good times again. All of Bob's dreams seem so far away now; however, our friendship will be right here to stay, the road between us will never be too long…...Bob was such a dear friend to me. Bob had a way of always making me feel very special with his warm smile and welcoming flair. Bob was handsome and charming, so creative, funny and yes, annoying at times too. Bob never let me forget that he appreciated our friendship as much as I did. He loved all of you guys and had a particular love for life itself. May we all find the strength we need to see us through this difficult time and hold Bob and all of our memories in our hearts forever. Love, Patsy

We were saddened to learn of Robert's passing. It has been several years since we've seen Robert. He (and William) have been in our conversations throughout the years while sharing the good, bad and ugly memories of marathon training. :~D He brought a smile to our faces, laughter and happiness to our hearts. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to William and the family.

For twenty years we lived next door to each other. We shared almost everything we had with each other growing up. As we grew older we were seperated by many miles and long periods of time would pass between visits. However when we did catch back up with each other he never failed to show up with with that smile that always brought joy to those around him. He was a wonderful person. I'll miss him allot.

What a sad loss. I so enjoyed working with Robert and William (we lovingly called "BillyBob" back in 2004 in the Kerry for President campaign.) Robert was like a ray of sunshine everytime he came around. What a loss to our community. I am holding William and Robert's Mother and siblings in my thoughts and prayers and wish all to be able to remember the joy he brought to everyone, in hopes that will ease the grief you are each experiencing right now. All the best.

The Adwell's were one of the first families we met when we came to Donelson. Bobby and Eddie were great divers at the pool and taught me how to dive. Spent great times together at his cousins house, Donna, playing and dancing there. His laugh was one you never forget and his great gift of making one feel at ease. Condolences to all that had the pleasure of knowing Bobby.

Bob and his brother Eddie were the brothers I never had. As a child I remember our families were always visiting one another. Bob always had the most ingratiating smile and the most pleasant disposition. I mourn his loss and grieve for Velda, Ed, Beth, and Buddy. Their loss is even more devastating than mine. I pray for their comfort in the knowledge that Bob is with our Lord and the Father. Til we see each other again, Cuz. I love you.
