Robert Thomas Aguilar, 35 was born to Lupe Aguilar Jr. and Sally Marie Aguilar on January 12, 1977. Robert was the only son and the youngest of four children.
Robert is survived by his father; Lupe Aguilar, mother; Sally Aguilar, three sisters; Deborah Moroles, Lisa Gutierrez and Christina Gutierrez, brother-in-laws; Luis Gutierrez, Ruben Gutierrez and Joe Moroles. Robert had 8 nephews; Luis Jr., Michael, Matthew and Thomas Gutierrez, Andrew and Eric Moroles, Brian and Ruben Jr. Gutierrez and one niece Karisa Gutierrez. Robert has also left behind 3 great-nephews and one great-niece. Robert comes from a very large family with countless, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Robert grew up and passed away on Williams Street in Hanford, California. Williams Street is very well known too much of the family members because many of the family members were raised on that very same street. Robert loved and took much pride being raised close to his grandparents, uncles and cousins. He always said he would never leave that street.
Although Robert didn't have any biological brothers, he did not lack from brotherly love. Robert grew up and was very close to his cousins Christopher Escobedo, Mario Barragan Jr., Arthur, Angel and Richard Barragan. He spent a lot of time with these boys and with their parents Rachel and Mario Barragan and they treated him like their own.
Many of his hobbies were fishing at the nearby marina, going out into the country with his nephews and cousins to shoot clay pigeons, BBQ for the family (couldn't BBQ without Bob), and music. Robert picked up his love of music from his dad and grandfather. Robert played the guitar and was a bass player for some time in a band called Crown Town Chronicles that produced a CD which we all enjoy listening to.
Robert worked side by side for many years with his two brother-in-laws Luis and Joe at California Chrome in Fresno, and as the painter at Bumper Master in Hanford. His most recent job was his favorite; caring for his 21 month old niece Jordan Gutierrez. This little girl loved her Uncle Robert.
Robert was very knowledgeable in biblical facts and held God near to his heart. His favorite verse was John 14:1; Robert truly believed in that promise. He made a promise to his mom that when God comes that he will be ready. I truly know that he kept that promise to her during those last weeks of his life and will meet her in the clouds when God comes to take us home and say, "See mama, I told you I will be ready."
Robert made an impact on every life he came in contact with. He had an unforgettable smile, and sense of humor that could forever leave an impression on someone's life.
It was always obvious how important his family was to him and how important he was to his family. Robert could be depended on for anything from helping someone move to celebrating. He was there any time he was needed through good times and bad. There is so much to be said about Robert but there are not words enough to convey how much he meant to everyone.
Robert passed away on December 2, 2012 in his home with his family near him. He will be truly missed and never forgotten.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Lemoore; 1035 E. Hanford-Armona Road, Lemoore, CA 93245 with Burial to follow at Hanford Cemetery; 10500 S. 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.

My brother Robert is truly being missed. He was a gentle giant and kind spirit. We as a family are struggling each day over our loss, but are comforted in knowing that Christ will raise him from his slumber in the last days. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
