Saudi Arabia, what an experience! Rob was part of that chapter of my life and many others as the camaraderie there with the expat community was very family like. I remembered when he retired and returned home, the group was never the same, may you rest in peace my friend. Rick & Family

I guess It has been almost a year. Time sure flies. I miss you and your smiling face everyday. What I wouldn't give to spend another minute with you. You had to do everything your way, didn't you? That's what makes it so hard. Just needed to let you know, I'm still thinking of you.

My Condolences to Rob's family, I know how much he will be missed by y'all.
I was shocked when I was told of Rob's passing a month ago. Just getting words together was hard. Now weeks later I am still saddened by his passing and so early in life. Rob was so full of life and loved living life to the fullest. It is hard to believe he has passed.
As Janet said he was a mover and shaker making things happen. We had a lot of great years together, fun, working and living all over the world. Life was like what most people read about, watch on TV or in the movies with all the world experiences.
As Sal said he retired too young, which I agree things changed. Although knowing now that God was calling Rob early, it is good he retired early to do all the other things in life he wanted to do and see here, before he left this Earth. Rob always said he had a list and would check off what he did in life and he did a lot.
Rob was always helping, teaching and guiding people. He had a great love for animals, trains and travel. Maybe he is up there with Bob (his father) doing all the things they loved to do together.
Rob was a great person and will be missed by all that knew him. All our friends and colleagues in the Middle East, China, Europe and the USA were shocked and saddened by Rob's passing so soon in life. He lived life to the fullest.
Rob was one of a kind and a wonderful person. I hope he can rest and has peace of mind. I know Rob will be a wonderful Guardian Angel looking after things in Heaven and down here. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

My mom worked with Rob at Indiana Bell and became good friends with him. We enjoyed the times we had together. To my brother, sister and I he was our big brother ready to have fun with us.
I will always cherish the memory of a summer vacation across Ontario with Rob and the Edwards boys.
I know Rob and my mom are telling stories of that trip and all the other adventures.
God speed big brother, you will be missed

My condolences to all who knew Rob, but most especially to his family and loved ones. I had the privilege to work for Rob at Lucent Technologies. He was a mover and shaker and knew how to get things done. I learned so many things from him and he helped to make me a better manager. We kept in touch over the years, I enjoyed hearing about his adventures. He was blessed with a wonderful life of love, fun, and travel. God has called him home too soon, but I know he will continue his adventures in Heaven and do a little moving and shaking up there as well.

We will always remember with great joy the times we have spent with Rob and Marianne. The many meals we shared and the great trips we had together. The evenings we spent playing cards and just talking on the porch. Walks with Babe and Rowdy and time spent at the country club. All these special times will be missed. Our hearts are sad for Marianne and Babe and all his family. Duke and Janie
