My teacher at Ardmore Elementary , 61/62. The only teacher I'll ever remember because he cared about me. My family was a mess but he was my anchor and my port in the storms. I'm so sorry it took me this long to find him and not be able to tell him how important he was to me. He pushed when I wanted to slide through, he said I could do better, he was right.

Mr. Ambrose, you were a rare gem.

I have fond memories of Mr Ambrose. He was my teacher at Parklawn Elementary school for the fifth and sixth grades, in 1958 and 1959. I loved him as my teacher, he was very patient and understanding and he inspired me to do well at a time in my life when there was a lot of strife in my home. I always intended to reach out to him to say hello over the years, but I never did. He was a fine man.
