Robert P. Artz, age 82, of Perrysburg, passed away June 25, 2013. He was born November 29, 1930 to Walter and Charlotte (Snyder) Artz of Perrysburg. He worked for LOF for 40 years retiring in 1988. He took great pride in his strong work ethic. Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Placer Car Club Member. He was an active member of Blessed John XXIII. Bob was a generous man, full of wisdom who loved his family. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Kalisik) Artz, five children, Robert N. Artz, Cynthia (Eric) Foster, Nancy (Michael) Stepnick, Michael Artz and Jeffrey (Sundae) Artz, 8 grandchildren, Andrew (Jen) Stepnick, Christy (Phil) Whitelaw, Emily Stepnick, Brok (Andrea) Foster, Brigham Foster, Allison, Kyle and Kaitlyn Artz and 6 great grandchildren, Maya and Elea Stepnick, Carly and Abby Whitelaw, Keevan and Brenton Foster.
Services and visitation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Condolences can be made to the family at www.witzlershankfuneralhome.com. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133).
