Robert E. Bogle, 91, of DuBois passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the
DuBois Nursing Home.
He was born March 10, 1921, in DuBois, the son of William and Iva (Shaffer)
Bogle.
Mr. Bogle retired from the York Merritt Welder Company.
He was a member of the Great Valley Methodist Church, Great Valley, NY. He also was a member of the Over 50 Club in Great Valley, NY and Shasta Camping Club.
He was loved by many children.
He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps having served in WWII.
Mr. Bogle is survived by his wife, Margery(Braund) Bogle, of DuBois, who he married
on December 24, 1942 in Harrison City, Pa and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers: Lester, Alfonzo, Telford, Percy, Donald and Bruce and a sister; Vera Krach.
Funeral Services will be held at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 2:00PM with Rev. Charles Lee officiating. Interment will be held at Salem Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00PM until the hour of the services.
