Cliff had a disarming laugh and a contagious smile. His wit was his biggest asset. We became good friends at the trailer park on Turkey Creek Road in College Station. I am sorry that I lost contact with him over the last years. He was a good friend. I will miss him. Guess I am going to have to wait to give him the next raz.

There are just no words to say all the different things that Clif meant to me. Before I met him and since then there has never been any experience in my life like my relationship with Clif. To say that I will miss you forever doesn't even begin to cover it. I meant when I told you on that summer night so many years ago and I still do. Love always Candis

Our deepest sympathy to the Cauthen family--we knew several members of the family at Sheffield, all very likeable and fine Christian folks.--

Clif was a friend of a lifetime. Over the past 24 yrs he has always been there for me to give support only a true friend can give,or to tell me to get over it and move on. His honesty, integrity and sense of humor is something I will miss. God blessed me when he brought Clif into my life, and for that I will be forever Greatful. I look forward to the day we can jump on the mountain bikes again and set off our next great adventure. Rest in Gods hands my friend

Thoughts and prayers are with you always...Coach C., Mrs. Cauthen, Val & Scott. I was very fortunate to spend time with Clif at the Bobcat game last September in Dallas; and it was such a great visit. We attempted to catch up on just about everything we could fumble out of our "chatter boxes" that night!!!! I'm quite sure (because of his demeanor) Clif was a fantastic son and brother; and was loved by many family members and friends. RIP teammate; you made a lot of lives better because of your presence. I'm still in shock.......
