Robert E. Diver -
Of Jackson, passed away Monday November 11, 2013 age 83. Robert was a Korean War Veteran and retired from Aeroquip, he will be remembered by friends and family as a devoted dog lover who treated each of his pets as if they were his own children. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Edith (Walton), siblings, Charles, Pauline Warder, Ruth Lehman, Doris Tatman, Donald, Gordon and Esther. He is survived by two siblings, Virginia Pope of Texas and Elmer of Jackson. Robert's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to those who assisted him in his later years; neighbors Jerry and Rita, Great Lakes Hospice and the exceptional staff of Highland Alzheimer's Care Facility. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's name to the Cascades Humane Society.
