Robert was a true gentlemen. I have said he has been one of the great forensic examiners of the FBI or infact of all time. I will miss my phone calls with Robert. I only wish he would have been able to make it this past May to see the Laboratory at Quantico VA.

What privilege to have known Bob through his enjoyment of hunting and camping. Revealing glimpses of his younger years in the cavalry, his FBI and Virginia and later Ruger forensic careers provided firsthand history and life stories of amazing proportion. He will be missed in camp.

Bob was my mentor and friend. He taught me professionalism in my work and sportsmanship in our days in the woods together. I consider myself very fortunate to have known him and to have had the benefit of his experience and wisdom.
