Robert D. Golburn, 81, died on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at his home in Jensen Beach, FL.
Robert was born in Waterbury, CT and moved to Florida in 1977 coming from Connecticut.
Prior to retirement he worked as a technical writer at Pratt and Whitney in West Palm Beach for eighteen years. Robert was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach. He was a graduate of Union College and a proud Korean War Veteran that served in the United States Army.
Survivors include wife Lorraine Godburn, of Jensen Beach, FL; sons Robert Godburn and his wife Elaine of Waterbury, CT, Gary Godburn and his wife Kathi of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Kenneth Godburn and his wife Susan of Wallkill, NY; daughters Judith Godburn and her husband Fielding Secor of Southbury, CT, Karen Stowell and her husband Joseph of Jensen Beach, FL, and Kathy Turney and her husband Van of Alpine, CA; 8 grandchildren
A memorial mass will be held at a future date. .
Contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
