Patty and family - it is tough when so many tell you that he lived a long and great life - because we want them to live longer. Even though we don't get to keep them forever - we do get to cherish the memories and that will hold your father alive in your heart always. Patty, my thoughts and prayers are with you as I know how much you loved your father and you are so lucky that you had the time together to strengthen that love over these last few years.

Dear Griffis Family,
Bob was such a great friend and mentor to me while I was at Ford. He "adopted" me as one of his own.
Through out the years I always looked forward to our visits and have many great memories of Lisa, Faith, and David spending time talking to Bob.

I love you all so much and my heart is broken to lose Bob. You are all in my prayers and Matt is having special blessings for you all at St. John Fisher on Sunday. I've also requested special blessings for your family from Fr. Solanus and the Franciscan monks in Detroit. All my love forever and always .... Beth
