Robert C. Gwinnell, 60, of Union, N.J., passed away on Dec. 13, 2012. His family will receive friends and relatives at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Sunday, Dec. 16, starting from 2 p.m. A service will be held and eulogies delivered from 5 to 6 p.m. A reception will follow. Cremation will be private. Bob was born in Queens, N.Y., and lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., for many years before moving to Union in 1985. He was well-known in his community and was an active member of the Fairway Civic Association. A security consultant by trade, Bob worked for Assa Abloy of New Haven, Conn. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; sons, Dan and Dave; sisters, Laura and Pat, and many other relatives, friends and colleagues, who will remember him with fondness and love.
