Obituary

Robert Kent Henshaw, 78, of Henderson, NV, passed away July 24, 2013.  He was born in Weehawken, NJ on August 23, 1934.  Robert graduated from Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, CA and attended Cal Western University in San Diego and USC.    He was married to Dorothy K. Henshaw on March 27, 1955.  Robert worked in the golf course industry selling turf maintenance equipment for over 40 years, owning his own company for the last 5 of those years in Las Vegas.  Besides being a member of various turf grass organizations, he had a passion for barbershop harmony and was a member of the Barbershop Harmony...


Robert Kent Henshaw, 78, of Henderson, NV, passed away July 24, 2013.  He was born in Weehawken, NJ on August 23, 1934.  Robert graduated from Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, CA and attended Cal Western University in San Diego and USC. 



 



He was married to Dorothy K. Henshaw on March 27, 1955.  Robert worked in the golf course industry selling turf maintenance equipment for over 40 years, owning his own company for the last 5 of those years in Las Vegas.  Besides being a member of various turf grass organizations, he had a passion for barbershop harmony and was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society for 54 years. 



 



He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his son, Jeffrey and Trish (Sim) Henshaw, his daughter Cynthia and Alan Gordon; his grandchildren Hayley Monge, Kyley (Pence) Pepus, Graham Pence, Ethan Pence, Molly Gordon, Shawna (Henshaw) Diep, Michael Sim and Alexis Sim; and great grandchildren, Taylor Logan, Christian Logan, Natalia Monge and Carson Pence. 



 



A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, NV 89074.
