Robert Henry Kowalski, age 82, passed away July 24, 2012 in Beaumont. He was born June 8, 1930 in Wayne, Michigan to George and Julia Kowalski. He was a United States Army Veteran serving his country for eight years. He was also employed with the Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of the Word Of Life Tabernacle in Silsbee. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Julia Kowalski, and one brother Leonard Valentine Kowalski. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria J. Kowalski of Beaumont, two daughters, Connie Yolanda Smids and husband Frederick of Beaumont, and Sherry Ann Haggett and husband Winston of Hanover,...
Robert Henry Kowalski, age 82, passed away July 24, 2012 in Beaumont. He was born June 8, 1930 in Wayne, Michigan to George and Julia Kowalski. He was a United States Army Veteran serving his country for eight years. He was also employed with the Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of the Word Of Life Tabernacle in Silsbee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Julia Kowalski, and one brother Leonard Valentine Kowalski.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria J. Kowalski of Beaumont, two daughters, Connie Yolanda Smids and husband Frederick of Beaumont, and Sherry Ann Haggett and husband Winston of Hanover, Ontario Canada, four grandchildren, Yolanda Lynn Smids of Beaumont, William Lee Smids and wife Tara Bre'Ann Smids of Beaumont, Ashley Ann Haggett and husband Duane Haggett of Hanover, Ontario Canada, and Amber Lynn Haggett, He is also survived by two great-grandchildren William Duane Haggett and Micah John Haggett, one niece, Jane Kowalski of Italy, and many other beloved, brother and sister-in-laws, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin on Monday, July 30, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Tabernacle in Silsbee. Interment will follow at the R.S. Farmers Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee.
