Many things can be said about Mr. Robert Joe Mills, known to family and friends as Bob. He was a caring and tenderhearted person. One of his favorite things was telling jokes, joking and teasing back and forth with family and friends. Bob was born April 2, 1940 in Jefferson City, Missouri. His parents were Maude and Robert Mills of Missouri. He grew up with two sisters, Brenda and Meliede (Tillie). Bob has two daughters, Debbie and Donna and one son, David. He has sixteen grandchildren, Dalton, Ashtyn, Regan, Landon, Charlie, Mary, Sam,Ashley, Jessica, Jordan, Amanda, Kara, Stephanie, Nicolas (deceased), Walker, and Justin. He loved...

He was a caring and tenderhearted person. One of his favorite things was telling jokes, joking and teasing back and forth with family and friends.

Bob was born April 2, 1940 in Jefferson City, Missouri. His parents were Maude and Robert Mills of Missouri. He grew up with two sisters, Brenda and Meliede (Tillie).

Bob has two daughters, Debbie and Donna and one son, David. He has sixteen grandchildren, Dalton, Ashtyn, Regan, Landon, Charlie, Mary, Sam,Ashley, Jessica, Jordan, Amanda, Kara, Stephanie, Nicolas (deceased), Walker, and Justin.
He loved his grandchildren. He has three step-children, Toni, Laurie and Michael.

Bob married Shirley on December 18, 1981 in Dallas, Texas. They lived briefly in Dallas before moving to Logan, New Mexico. They settled in Houston (Humble), Texas in 1985. Bob retired in 2005 after 30+ years of driving "big rig" trucks. He took great pride in his job and received numerous safety awards.

Bob loved Shirley, family, friends and neighbors. He will be sorely missed.
