Robert E. Mitchell, 86, passed away on March 28, 2014 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Robert was born on July 7, 1927 in Plymouth, Indiana to William Harrison and Eva Alma (Stroud) Mitchell. He served in the United States Air Force and retired after more than 30 years of service to his country. Robert went on to work for York International as a floor supervisor and also retired after many years of service with the company. He enjoyed watching the Big Bang Theory, both the OSU and Dallas Cowboys, having a glass of wine, attending yoga class, classic country music, and going out to eat with his family. Robert E. Mitchell, 86, passed away on March 28, 2014 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Robert was born on July 7, 1927 in Plymouth, Indiana to William Harrison and Eva Alma (Stroud) Mitchell.

He served in the United States Air Force and retired after more than 30 years of service to his country. Robert went on to work for York International as a floor supervisor and also retired after many years of service with the company. He enjoyed watching the Big Bang Theory, both the OSU and Dallas Cowboys, having a glass of wine, attending yoga class, classic country music, and going out to eat with his family. He volunteered at the Rainbow House, served as treasurer of the Council of Neighborhoods and was an honorary police officer.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bobbie Mitchell; and seven siblings. Survivors include his children, Steve Mitchell, Donnita LeMaster and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Johnene "Joni" Salsedo, Michia Love, Christopher and Robert Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Sydney Salsedo and Kobe Love; siblings; Charles "Chuck" Mitchell (Virginia Simons), Glen Mitchell (Sue), and Stan Mitchell (Pat).

A memorial service with funeral honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
