Robert L Morris 81, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on May 14th 2012 at Cedar Springs Health Care Center in Cedartown, Georgia. A native of Sheboygan, WI, Robert was born May 7th 1931, son of Daniel L and Dorothy Beerninck Morris. He graduated from Loretta-Draper High School in 1949, served in the US Army, 1952-1954 and the Army reserves. Bob graduated from UW Stout with a BS in Industrial Arts Education. He relocated to Georgia and spent many years there where he was active in his church. Robert is survived by a brother, Daniel (Janice) Morris of Cameron WI; children, Marilee Morris of Stoughton WI, Cheryl ( Dave) Ashenbrenner of Naples FL, Lee ( Kim) Morris of Hartford WI, Cathy ( Ron) Hasslinger,of Oregon WI, and Bill Morris of Naples FL; and their mother Barbara Morris of Madison WI. Eleven grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren also survive.
The family thanks the Staff of Cedar Springs Health Care Center for the loving care Bob received there in the last years of his life.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Springs Health and Rehab Center, 148 Cason Rd, Cedartown GA 30125.
