Robert Dean Patrick, 64, of Olathe KS entered into Eternal rest October 3, 2012. Robert (Bob, Bobby) was born September 17, 1948 in Olathe KS, the son of Henry and Eloise (Mahaffie) Patrick. Robert was baptized at the First Christian Church in Olathe. He grew up in Olathe, graduating from Olathe High School in 1966. After graduating from high school, Bob enlisted in the United States Marine Corp attaining the rank of Sergeant and proudly serving his country for 4 years until his honorable discharge. He was a Viet Nam vet serving 2 tours. After discharge he went to work for General Motors for 30 years retiring in 2001 as the team leader of metal finish.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Henry C. Patrick. Survivors include his mother, Eloise, three children, Shane, Jason, and Krystal, brothers, Ronald and Charles, Sisters, Sandra and Janet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Cheramie and Clay who were always in his life and heart. And last but not least his adopted grandson and little wrestling buddy Corbin aka "little prince"
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2012 at the funeral home with burial in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe, KS. Offer condolences at McGilley-Frye.com

I am sad to hear about Bob. He will be missed by friends and family. I worked with Bob most of his GM career. Bob was at times hilarious and at times a little stuborn,but if a task needed done he was the best. I appreciate his service to our country.
