He was then stationed to Westover Air Force Base in Massachesetts, followed by Wiesbaden, Germany, and then McGuire AFB, New Jersey. Seeking warmer weather, he ventured to the West and settled in Southern California. There he put his German clock training to good use and bought Ben Little's Clock Shop which he owned and operated in Ontario for over 30 years with his wife and daughter Carol.

He is survived by his loving wife Pam of almost 60 years and his 3 daughters.

His favorite daughter, Sharon Lee Swart-Reiter, her husband Don and family of Chino, California. His other favorite daughter Carol May Pettey and her Husband David and her family of Redlands, California and his other favorite daughter Shirley Ann Burroughs and her husband Steve and her family also of Redlands.

Robert was also blessed with 5 grandsons Kyle, Jake (Heather) and Cody Reiter, Robert (Rachael) Walker and Steven (Jennifer) Burroughs. Two granddaughters, Nichole Hutchins (Eric) and Pamela Harrison (Paul), 5 great-grandsons Aiden, Elias, Declan, Dean and Brockton and 3 great-granddaughters Bella, Audrey and Teagan.

Bob loved to cook, baked the best lemon and apple pies, play golf, fly model airplanes and most of all, loved being with his family. There was so much to this man. Words are inadequate to describe him and our love for him.

Robert was not only a beloved husband and father but a devoted and loyal friend to all who knew him.

He will be missed every moment of every day.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 12:00 noon at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, California. A gathering will be held afterwards at Sun Lakes Country Club...North Club House...545 Twin Hills Drive, Banning, California.
