ROBERT EUGENE WARNER (Bob), loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, was called to be with the Lord on July 17, 2013. Bob, who was affectionately known to those who loved him as Papa and Scout, was born on July 28, 1934, in Jenner, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Pennsylvania, and joined the United States Air Force immediately out of high school where he served as an air rescue medic in the Korean War. After active duty overseas, Bob was stationed in Houston, Texas, where he and his wife, Roberta, raised their family.

Bob received his degree in Accounting from the University of Houston and demonstrated his generous spirit as a U of H Athletic Lifetime Cougar. After becoming a CPA, Bob applied his incredible work ethic to the oil and gas service industry with a career that he loved.

Since his retirement Bob has enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing golf and cards and was especially fond of the memories created at the lake. Bob is preceded in death by Roberta, his devoted wife of 55 years. He leaves his current and dear wife, Maryann McKee Warner; his adoring daughters: Nancy Bryan, Liz Conner (David), and Susie Grace (Kenny); his pride and joy, his grandchildren: Emily Bryan Bullion, Bobby Conner, Beth Bryan Landgraf, Ben Conner, Katie Conner, Sarah Grace and Rebecca Grace; his great-grandchildren, Hanna, Jack, Caroline, Tucker, Kate and Claire. Bob also leaves two brothers, Blaine and Jack, as well as Maryann's children: Bryce McKee (Sandy), Mark McKee (Cindy), and her grandchildren, Bryce McKee, Griffin McKee, Brianna McKee, and Aiden McKee.

Bob was an incredible man: trusting, reliable, intelligent, generous, and humble Christian. His strength and integrity have always been the backbone of our family. He will be dearly missed by all those that loved him but his steadfast spirit will forever be treasured!

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 19, 2013, at Sugar Land United Methodist Church, 431 Eldridge Rd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Martin Nicholas officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at the church. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Bob's honor.

Goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
