Bob was in our Class of 1956 at the U.S. Naval Academy. Even though it was 58 years ago, I still remember Bob.

Absolutely adored standing next to Bob in choir with that beautiful, booming, resonant gift of his, always hoped someday I would grow up to have half the voice he had. Loved cutting up on the back row until Beverly gave us "that look."

The Sunday my eldest daughter was baptized he sang a solo in that rich melodic voice of his and my granddad couldn't compliment Bob enough - even several years later.

Rest peacefully, my friend.
