Robert T. Wright, 91 of El Dorado, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. Born March 31, 1922 in El Dorado, he was the son of Thomas Carroll and Norma Deason Wright. Mr. Wright attended the University of Alabama where he was member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing in his leisure time. He had been employed as a sales representative for Lion Oil Company and served in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Robert T. Wright, 91 of El Dorado, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

Born March 31, 1922 in El Dorado, he was the son of Thomas Carroll and Norma Deason Wright. Mr. Wright attended the University of Alabama where he was member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing in his leisure time.

He had been employed as a sales representative for Lion Oil Company and served in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He and his wife Janet were among the founding families of the church where he served on numerous committees and positions.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wife of 65 years Janet Wright and a sister Marguerite Wright.

Survivors include daughters, Jane Feinberg (David) of El Dorado and Susan Kinard (Steve) of Tullahoma, TN. There are three grandchildren, Sam Feinberg of Conway, Amy Kinard and Patrick Kinard (Bridget) all of Nashville, TN along with two great-grandchildren, Audrey and Parker Kinard of Nashville, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday January 27, 2014 in Young's Chapel with Rev. Rob Walker officiating. Private interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. The family will remain at the funeral home during the interment to greet friends.
There will be no visitation before services.
