Roger Cain of Pelham, Alabama passed away on December 17, 2015. He attended the University of Alabama and UAB earning his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, and was a Licensed Professional Counselor. Roger loved a good conversation, spending time with his family, especially his grandson, and tending to his vegetable garden. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Georgette Cain; son, Jonathon (Satieva) Cain; grandson, Eli Cain; daughter, Jennifer Cain; and sister, Jerry Hogg. A Memorial Service for Mr. Cain will be held Tuesday, December 29th, 11 am, at Independent Presbyterian Church. I was fortunate enough to work with Roger for several years. You could count on him to make you laugh even through tough times. My daughter used to say, "Mom you have a great job. You work with Santa Claus". We had some fun times and he will be truly missed.
