Dear Rodney,
I am so sad that you are gone. You were such a kind and generous friend to me. I know my Nathan will mostly miss your letting him steer your boat at the lake, but I will mostly miss the lunch conversations.
Although you were always supportive when things weren't going right for me, the thing I loved most about you was that you always got excited and happy - that I was happy - whenever I had some good news to share. You were a true friend.
I guess that I will just have to find a Ben & Jerry's around here to have small cup of ice cream in your honor, but it won't be the same with out you.
Love and hugs to your family.

Rodney was a blessing to many and will always be remembered for the laughs and good times he brought to many. He was always able to make you smile. He always had a story to tell. He will be missed by many. I pray with time the pain of your loss will ease. Be Blessed.

To the family and many friends of Rod,
As you go through the pain and angst of having lost your Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and dear Friend, please know that there are hundreds who like you knew and loved him. To me he was a wonderful friend, manager, and coworker whose knowledge benefited many, whose wit and humor left many a smile, and whose loss has left us all missing him greatly. I pray with time you all will find peace and acceptance with your loss.

Hearing of Rodney's passing was a very big shock. I met him in 1982 when he hired me to work for him and can honestly say my 25+ years association with him was among the best ones I will treasure. I do hope that the pain of losing him will end as quickly as possible for all of us.
