Sharon, I cherish the memories of Butch and his family from my High School and College days. I regret that I didn't get to know you and his children. He was so blessed to have you, his kids, and the Lord in his life. I am sure the world is a better place because of Butch. God bless Butch and your family.

The paths of Butch and I's lives have not intersected that often since high school and college. Along with sorrow, the notification of his transition into eternity initiates a number of fond memories. Butch is a friend, but most importantly, a brother in Christ. I vividly recall meeting at class reunion, and him sharing, "Max, I have changed." I know now he was referring to a supernatural transformation. The Lord used this brief encounter to rekindle the same response in me. Nancy and I extend our heartfelt condolence to Sharon and and the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Butch's death. We were classmates at Winfield High School. We played football and ran track together. He ran middle distances and I ran sprints. I was sorry that I did not connect with him at our class 50th anniversary 5 years ago. I was pleased to learn of his commitment to Christ and his involvement in church. Blessings to his family in their sorrow.
