Roger Vernon Anderson, 68, passed away peacefully in his home in Chandler, Arizona on Thursday May 12, 2011. Roger was a retired Chase Bank employee of 36 years who had a passion for traveling, reading, cooking and most importantly family. Roger is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bertha, 3 daughters, Jean, Paula and Georgene, 2 sons, Samuel and Manuel; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Casey, Alexandria, Melissa, Michael, Joshua, Shawn, Bryce, Brittany, Jaymz and Eliana, 3 great grandchildren, his 2 brothers Larry and Dale, and his sister Sally. He was preceded in death by parents Swen and Dorothy Anderson, sister Carley and brother Daryl....

Roger was a retired Chase Bank employee of 36 years who had a passion for traveling, reading, cooking and most importantly family.

Roger is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bertha, 3 daughters, Jean, Paula and Georgene, 2 sons, Samuel and Manuel; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Casey, Alexandria, Melissa, Michael, Joshua, Shawn, Bryce, Brittany, Jaymz and Eliana, 3 great grandchildren, his 2 brothers Larry and Dale, and his sister Sally. He was preceded in death by parents Swen and Dorothy Anderson, sister Carley and brother Daryl.

Services will be held on Monday May 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Lakeshore Mortuary in Mesa, AZ. A continuation of the celebration of his life will be held immediately afterward at the clubhouse of Lakeshore at Andersen Springs Condominiums in Chandler, AZ.

At the request of the family, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley in lieu of sending flowers.
