Pop,
I wish there were words to tell you how much I miss you. You are in my thoughts constantly, thinking of the little things that meant so much. I can't explain how thankful I am that Jordan got to know you, and the love you had for your family. You made a difference in each and every one of the lives of the people you loved. I miss you every day, I love you.

Pop,
I'll never forget all of the Saturday nights we spent together. I'll never forget your knack for building. I'll never forget your velcro shoes. I'll never forget your huge doughnuts, strawberry gum, peanut butter, and scheduled breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I'll never forget your motorcycle or interest in tennis. I'll never forget your clever sense of humor. I'll never forget how precise you were. I'll never forget your encouragement or helping hand. I'll never forget your unique light green eyes. Most of all, though, I'll always remember your love for me.
I love you too,
Alyssa

To Pop,
I will always remember the happy times having dinner, playing games, eating M+M's and goofing off. Thanks for making the salad. I'll always remember the beautiful woodworking projects, the perfect handwriting, the beautiful photographs, and yelling at the tennis pros on TV. I'll always remember you coming to the rescue when things went wrong-always coming to help, even when you had your own work to do. My roof. My fence. My entire house.
Thanks for the card games (is it my turn?), the donuts, the funny stories, and all the birthday and Mother's Day cards that said just the right things. I saved every single card.
I love you very much. I'm just so sorry I didn't tell you these things when I had the chance.
Jennifer (Pumpernickel)

Pop, thanks for all your help and generosity over the years. Thanks for passing along your stubborn perfectionist gene when it comes to do-it-yourself home projects. Thanks for being a good sport about being nicknamed "Pop" as a kind of joke when I was about 13. Thanks for going to the junkyard and finding parts for my Cougar, then lying on the ground to fix it. Thanks for all the help when I went through the 2nd worse time in my life a few years ago. Thanks for never forgetting my kids and grandson on Christmas, their birthdays, weddings and graduations or any other occasion. Thanks for kicking our butts at cards, I won't forget that grin on your face when you ended up with every card you needed, saying "I don't believe this". Thanks for the Funny Bones. Thanks for showing up at my house every weekend when I was building the deck. Thanks for always letting me borrow what I needed. I really thought I'd be doing that for many more years.
I will miss you.
Love, your son Dave.
