LaCoursiere, Rolland W. “Frenchie”, 80, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 in Wichita. Frenchie was born on June 28, 1936 in Red Lake County, Minnesota the son of Emery and Rose LaCoursiere. Frenchie and Phyllis LaCoursiere were united in marriage, she passed in 2006. Frenchie served in the United States Air Force. Frenchie retired after 36 years from Beech in Wichita. Frenchie was an active member and usher with Church of the Magdalen in Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Rita Perusse, brother, Marvin LaCoursiere, son, Robert Schnur, grandson, Gavin. Survivors include his loving children, Stephen Schnur of Wichita, Donita Trukken of Wichita, daughter-in-law, Cathy, brothers, Jim, Mike and Jerry, grandchildren, Jacob, Lacy, Anna, Jeff, Dallas, Garrett, Racheal, Blaise, great-grandchildren,Savannah, Cody, Olivia, Mason, Noah, Tyler, Gabriel and Orrin and many nieces, nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 17, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will follow both at Church of the Magdalen, 12626 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67206. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials have been established with the Church of the Magdalen.
