On Saturday April 27, 2019, Ronald Jenkins, husband, father and brother, passed away at home after fighting pancreatic cancer. Ron was born March 8, 1945 in Toronto, Canada to Dorothy and Harold Jenkins. He grew up in Newbury, Ohio with his 10 brothers and sisters. Ron served in the Army from 1967 to 1969 and was a Vietnam Veteran. Ron was a long- time resident of Las Vegas and worked in the construction industry as a superintendent. Ron loved to ride his Harley with friends, play golf, travel, and spend time with his family. On Saturday April 27, 2019, Ronald Jenkins, husband, father and brother, passed away at home after fighting pancreatic cancer.

Ron was born March 8, 1945 in Toronto, Canada to Dorothy and Harold Jenkins. He grew up in Newbury, Ohio with his 10 brothers and sisters.

Ron served in the Army from 1967 to 1969 and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Ron was a long- time resident of Las Vegas and worked in the construction industry as a superintendent.
Ron loved to ride his Harley with friends, play golf, travel, and spend time with his family.

Ron will be forever remembered by his wife Joanne, his daughters Carey Walker (Donald) of Henderson, NV., Brenda Smith (Josh) of Las Vegas, NV., sons Bret Jenkins and Bart Jenkins of Las Vegas, NV. Eight grandchildren Brandon Walker, Ashley Walker, Jeremy Walker, Tylor Walker, Dylan Jenkins, Joshua Smith, Dustin Smith, Trevor Smith and one great grandson Zane.

Ron will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to a veteran's charity or a pancreatic cancer charity.
