Obituary

Ron "Ronnie" Allman, age 53, of Birmingham passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Allman and Mary Francis Allman. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lana Allman, his children, Hunter and Alesha Allman, his sister and brother, Janice Allman and Larry Wayne Allman; as well as a host of other relatives and close friends. Ronnie was a 7th degree black belt and Senior Master in Tae Kwon Do, to which he dedicated 34 years of teaching and training. In addition, Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman. The funeral will be held at Shades Valley Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013, with the visitation beginning at 2pm followed by the memorial service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ron Allman Children's Memorial Fund c/o Fidelity Investments, Two Perimeter Park South, Suite 250 East, Birmingham, AL 35243.
