Ronald Vernon Gingrich, a resident of Richmond, TX passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from complications of diabetes. He was born July 5, 1936 in Cortland, NY to Ira Cecil and Thelma Gingrich. He began his professional career for General Electric in 1956 as a research assistant and worked there until 1975. He worked other positions with RCA and Phillip Electronics until retirement in 2000 after which he moved to Richmond, TX to be closer to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debbie Gingrich first wife Lorraine M. Gaffney Gingrich. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife June Kent Gingrich, son Bruce Gingrich, daughters Diane Gingrich and Denise Bowers, grandchildren: Elin Cartier, Ira Colin Gingrich, Sean Gingrich, Robbie Shaber, Alex Nettles, Zachary Nettles, Aubrey Brooks, great grandchildren Dylan Cartier and Kaylee Nettles, sister Nancy Semarad (Albert) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
