On the morning of October 7, 2016, Ronald Wesley Dixon passed away suddenly in his Santa Clarita home. Ron was born in Los Angeles on September 30, 1938. He was 78.
He graduated from Leuzinger High in 1956. It was there that he met Shawnee Setser, and they married in March, 1957. They moved their family to Saugus in 1964 and have resided in the Santa Clarita Valley ever since. Ron was a hardworking and committed man.
He successfully owned and operated Dixon Hard Chrome for more than 50 years. Motorcycling, fishing, windsurfing, going to the movies, and walking his dog were some of his most enjoyable activities.
As a dedicated family man, he cherished the moments spent with both his immediate family and extended family. Ron was predeceased by his grandson, Jeffery Dixon, in June 2016.
He is survived by his loving wife Shawnee; sons Donald (wife Julia) and Larry (wife Marybeth); granddaughter Lisa; and grandsons Michael, Daniel, Drake and Kevin.
He will always be loved and greatly missed
