Ronald G. Burdick, 78, of Oconomowoc, WI passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 15th at Linden Court in Waukesha. Ronald was born Feb. 22, 1934 in Beloit, WI to Sylvester and Ruth (Gotham) Burdick. He graduated from Beloit College in 1956 and spent the next 2 years in the United States Army playing trumpet in the band. Ronald married Sarah (Sally) LaDuke Oct. 12, 1957.
He worked for K-Mart for 37 years, 26 as a store manager. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis, boating, skiing, and life in general. Ronald is survived by his wife Sally, sons David and John (Karen), daughters Ruth Northrup (Bob) and Mary Toebe (Jim) also survived by grandchildren, Jonathan and Christopher Burdick, Renee' Toebe, and Michael and Steven Northrup. In addition, he is survived by his brothers Frank (Barbara) and Robert (Glenda), sisters-in-law Nancy Albert and Mary Gokey.
Visitation will be held Sat., May 19 from 2pm to 3:30pm followed by the Memorial Service, officiated by the Rev. Steve Welch, pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ, 815 S. Concord Rd., Oconomowoc, WI.
The family of Ron wish to thank the staff of Linden Court, Waukesha and the staff of Home and Hospice Advantage for their compassionate and loving care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Linden Court, Waukesha.

Sally- I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing. Our paths crossed when I worked at his store as a pharmacist and then again playing with him in New Horizons band in Waukesha and at the Door County band camp. He was a kind and gentle person. Please accept my deepest sympathies
