Livermore Falls - Ronald J. Davis, 47, of Livermore Falls, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home on Wednesday March 23, 2016. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on September 20, 1968, a son of Joseph and Nancy (O'Leary) Davis. Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army. After his time in the Army, he worked in various industries, working over 10 years for Isaacson Lumber. He enjoyed all outdoor activities including: farming, hunting, fishing, competitive skiing in which he finished 1st in the middle school 20m jumping. Ronald came from a very devout Catholic family which he loved very much. His time spent with his children, nieces, nephews was very special to him. They just naturally gravitated to him due to his very simplistic and easygoing nature. Spending time at Tripp Lake, tinkering with cars and engines of all sorts and generally fixing anything that came his way, gave him great satisfaction in being able to help others in this way. He was very restless and unable to just sit around and was always willing to help others due to his very kind hearted spirit. Ronald is survived by his 3 children: Erika Hiscock of Minot, Ronald "RJ" Davis ll of Livermore Falls and Veronica Davis of Livermore Falls, his parents, Joseph and Nancy Davis of South Paris, his sisters: Cindy Davis Poulin of Lewiston, Laura Davis Koch of Rumford and Holly Davis of Wiscasset, 4 grandchildren: Madilyn Dow, Chandler Hiscock, Ethan Hiscock, Damion Welch and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents: W. Owen Davis and wife Christine, Joseph O'Leary and wife Lucy and many aunts and uncles. You are invited to join us in remembering Ronald by visiting our memorial at www.thefortingroupauburn.com to share your thoughts and fond memories with the Davis family.

Ron,
You are so very missed each and everyday. We all go down memory lane and talk about all the crazy things that we have all done together as well as all the times relaxing and enjoying each others company. Man I would do anything to have you back with all of us. You were funny, kind hearted, hard working, and an amazing friend. I hope you are with Buddy again and playing like you always did with him.
We miss you and love you very much.

35 years ago we met, and you always amused and entertained my friend. Over the years we were many things, but first and foremost you were one of my best friends, providing way more memories than I could possibly share. I have difficulty picking a favorite, but I think the one thing I am most grateful to you for is helping me create a beautiful family and for that I am infinately grateful to you. As our children grieve the loss of their father, My promise to you is that I will watch over them and comfort them until we all meet again. RIP Ron

Our deepest condolences go out to Joe, Nancy and family on this sad, sad day.
Ron was very much one of our family members for many, many years. He would always make us laugh and give great big hugs. Ron spent many months with our family as he was going through a rough period of time and we all bonded very well and we watched over Ron during those times to help him out and give him love and guidance.
Ron, you had such a big heart! Your smiling was seen for miles and your friendship would last a life time. You have touched our family in such a profound way and we will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to have you in our lives and family.
May you RIP Ron and suffer no more. You will be missed every single minute of every day but you will most definitely not be forgotten!
With all our love!
Steve & Tina Weaver
